Look at it this way, you have nothing to lose playing at home. It won't cost you money for credits, you don't need to worry about onlookers, it's just you and you're free to do whatever. Maybe you will stumble a little at first, but many do. No need to feel embarrassed about that. Nerves are understandable, but there's no shame in struggling when you're starting out. Just do your best and enjoy yourself 🙌

@@autumnsweetfluff5780 I get what you're saying! And that too is natural. But (imo) life is all about exploring new things even if it might be a little thrilling at first. Don't be afraid to embarrass yourself a little, you can pat yourself on the shoulder afterwards for trying! Instead, I think people should be more afraid of missing out on experiences for not trying in the first place.

There is also one little tiny detail different in the animation The original nicovideo upload of the animation has a mistake with one frame having a black square on a character's ear but this version and Masayoshi Minoshima's version doesn't have the mistake@@ThumbsyArrowStomp

This isn't me but it was really hot that day and inside as well, plus it's less unusual to be shirtless there in the summer since the arcade is practically by the beach xd

DDR's a lot more recognized here in the US compared to Pump. I'm more inclined to say Pump's the underrated game compared to DDR. (Case in point, DDR earned more in the arcade I frequent than Pump, from what I've been told by the manager.)

You can find all known locations on ZIv's database: zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/arcades.php Just filter by the right game series and then zoom in on NL (or wherever you'd like to inspect) Nationaal Videogame Museum is the only place where you can play A20+ (by far the newest game compared to what's available elsewhere) and it's networked as well! So my personal recommendation goes out to that one as you can probably guess :p

@@ThumbsyArrowStomp I actually constantly go to game museum with friends! That's our main DDR spot. Sadly can't locate anything closer to Roosendaal-

@@zacharymarius3725 Ahhh nice! Yeah not many DDRs around unfortunately. Gamestate is the only other public location with modern-ish DDR. NVGM's is the best you'll find performance-wise in any case.

Just a lot of insecure people around I'd say 🤷 it's not too bad in the Netherlands actually but this arcade happens to be located right by one of the most crowded beaches of the country, so it attracts a lot of people including dumb folks like them

i like to watch people at the arcade play ddr because i like watching people have fun, especially when they’re good at the game like this guy. i hope i dont come across as judgmental

Dont get me wrong, theres no issue with watching of course, its more so the group in this video are literally pointing and laughing like they are making fun of it, no one will be upset if youre just watching or genuinely impressed, but especially in england, people expressing themselves is almost immediately ridiculed@@e7193

I don’t think any of them were making fun of him. They looked more like they were impressed than anything else. You’re looking into it too much

Especially with the dancing and movement arcade games, I assume most the people pointing and smiling are impressed or even just surprised. It doesn't always seem to be the case (as in, there CAN sometimes be some people more making fun of the player), but most the time it does seem more positive
